MIT Capital Partners (MIT Cap) is a student-led community at MIT that brings together builders, founders, and future investors. We host events focused on community building, hands-on learning, and creating direct connections between students, startups, and VCs.

Membership is only open to MIT undergraduates, but our events are open to everyone! Whether you want to start a startup, explore venture capital, meet new people, or simply learn more about the industry, MIT Cap is a great place to start.

What makes MIT Cap different from other clubs?
We give each and every member individualized support, tailored to their goals. We help our members land fellowships at prestigious VC firms and internships at top startups through our vast network and referrals. For founders, we create direct avenues to meet investors and prepare for fundraising. Beyond career opportunities, we prioritize building a close-knit community where members support each other’s growth and learning.

Our events are designed to bring together students, founders, and investors in both casual and professional settings. We host mixers where founders can meet potential co-founders, happy hours with VCs, educational workshops, fireside chats with seasoned investors and startup leaders, office visits, and private networking dinners. For our members, we also organize club dinners and retreats!

Most of the founders we work with are MIT/Harvard students, undergrad through PhD. Come to our events to meet potential co-founders, learn from seasoned entrepreneurs, and chat face-to-face with investors, whether to pitch or just get feedback before you're ready to raise.
